If you are going to join, you should do it now. They're selling 200 paid accounts today (and tomorrow?). Which means invite codes and paid accounts are not available all the time: they're controlling the site growth (which sounds pretty good idea for a starting blog site).

I joined, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I believe I'm going to crosspost pretty much everything and allow commenting on both sites. I imported my whole LJ there with their own import tool and it worked brilliantly, so at least I have a backup of my LJ there.

I have 2 invite codes to spare, so if you'd like to join, I'd be happy to send you one.

Yes, they have a very easy import tool on the site (you don't have to install anything to use it) and you can import all comments too, if you want.
