Okay, so I stopped watching Boston Legal ages ago, because it was both too silly and not too silly to watch. A stupid combination that makes cringe worthy moments rather than magic.
But after I saw a few reviews of the last ep, I just had to...
So they actually got Danny and Alan marry? Like... Okay.
I always loved that relationship, the man and his mad cow, and the whole flamingoes, best friends, love transcending such things as sexuality -thing adorable.
Also, Shatner and Spader have such insanely amazing chemistry, those two rock!
But... I don't know. It worked on so many levels, and yet it also didn't. I got some weird vibes from the whole thing, and with Denny's Alzheimer, they're most likely heading towards too much angst for me.
Alan's reactions to the actual wedding and the aftermath was strange as well. Regrets about it being too much or regrets about it being too little?
And that quip about Denny thinking Alan was his son just made it all so much... I can't even decide whether it made it better or worse.
But yeah, cute moments, the dancing at the end was nice, and why the hell couldn't they have kissed at the end of the damn ceremony? Made Shirley seem like a Mary Sue.
Now I'm waiting for the fic. There should be new fic coming up.
