Tomorrow, it'll be December, and people will go nuts. It'll be Jingle Bells 24/7 and everyone milling around the mall, fighting over everything you can buy. Bah humbug. Wake me up when it's all over.

I have nothing against christmas... :D Or Yuletide. I like the food, I like pressies and hey they'll show Jiminy Cricket's xmas show and I'll be all happy. It's all the fuss and the stress and whatnots.

Yeah, some people do that. Christmas has never been about that for me. I just... I love the spirit, you know? I love the Christmas lights and I love the giving (well, buying) when I have the time to really think about it. Nobody likes the stress, but I think many make the Christmas about that when they focus on expectations.

I like christmas, a little. It only needs a little sarcasm towards the commercialism, and a lot of sarcasm towards religions, but I like it when the family gathers together to over-eat and give presents. I like it that there is a reason for adults to make their homes look like a dollar store puked on them and send pictures of their kids dressed in corny costumes. Stress and stiffness and too expensive gifts and unrealistically high expectations can be deconstructed. I'm planning to lazy around and drink too much wine.

P.S. I got a ginger bread house. Anyone surprised may raise their hand.
