Today's been an excellent day. :) Went to see the Casa de Bunnies and spent hours just babbling about everything.

Need to watch History Boys, but while waiting for my copy, I'd like to read some fic! Gimme!

I'm now contemplating on making that anti-rec list with suggestions appreciated. We need to list the worst of the worst! Bathing fics! Daddy!tops with no warnings! Weepy guys and helpless idiots!

*runs screaming*

Though I slept ridiculously late, I'm once again tired. Should go to bed, but will read this one fic... Just this one... *snore*

Oh, the History Boys recs! There's a slash community in LJ, drinkswithdakin and there has been some Yuletide fics too. kaydeefalls has written an excellent fandom overview for Crack Van, which is a good introduction to the characters. My problem with the fic is that I don't see the lure of Dakin (the student that everybody is in love with) so much and am not that interested in reading fics about him. But I do love the young teacher, Irwin (he's awfully pretty too) and Posner, the guy who serenades Dakin in front of the class. Plus, I'm a sucker for witty dialogue and there's plent of that in the History Boys.

I started Dark Is Rising last night, but only read the first chapter, so nothing to say yet.
