Went to see Clannad in concert tonight. Have been a fan ever since I first saw Robin of Sherwood on telly in... I think they showed it here in 1986 or maybe a year after that... Anyway, have loved Clannad's music for over 20 years, so it was never really a question whether or not I was actually going to go and see them tonight. :)
Anyway! The concert was awesome. Just... whoa. They played lots of songs, from three decades, and there was wonderful energy in their performance. Laughed at their lead singer, Moya Brennan, who actually went barefooted throughout the concert. Everyone seemed to have such a great time, and I really can't believe they have never been in this country before. Took them like 35 years to get here. Hope they'll come back.
After the show, they came to meet and greet the fans. I managed to... er... well, I kind of got to the front of the line really accidentally, though the line was already really long. Got to talk to all of them, and got to tell them how much I adore their music. Was really glad I got the chance, 'cause they really deserve to hear that. Like... Yeah.

Will now continue being deliriously happy, and annoy poor Tvilly for a few hours more. Yay!
