Good gods. Just watched the latest Lewis, and am now grinning like an idiot, too hyped to go to bed. This episode made me so happy, though it was sad and angsty and everything.

Hathaway! How I love thee and thy crisis of faith! And issues! Lots of issues, like blah de blaah and OMG I'm so glad they never did say anything confirming about his sexuality. Lewis asks, and is kind of weirded about his need to ask, and Hathaway just asks how does one define gay. There's no angst about him smooching a transsexual killer, just grief over the insanity of the whole case.

And yes, I went ballistics when they fought, and went all *flails* when Lewis walked out on Hathaway, and gods yes I was making strange slasher noises accompanied by the flailing when Lewis carried Hathaway out of the burning house and then shielded him with his own body!

So yeah, I may have mentioned the fact that I totally love this series, right? But come on! Am I really the only person in the world who watches this?

Yes, this show needs a fandom, especially since the slash is virtually canon. There's the possibility of that nice Morse era angst ('It was like marriage... But I already had a wife') and then Hathaway's own angst and... Not to mention romance and hotness too.

*grin* Now we need a community and people to do writing/artworking!

There is a community, if you'll excuse the pimping. inspector_lewis - just founded today by yours truly and rene_starko.

But it is practically canon - I mean, they hang out together outside of work, get 'tipsy' together, I'd swear Hathaway was jealous of that woman in the previous ep, and I'm still convinced Hathaway's gay, or else not entirely straight.

Yup, rene_starko asked me to be a mod too, and I was all yay, am just not sure where that invite went. Anyway, just joined.

Well, the relationship between an inspector and his sergeant is like marriage, and now that neither of them has a wife... :D I really hope it stays that way, so the fans can iterpret it any way we chose.

And yes, Hathaway was jealous as hell in that Wagner episode, and the look he gave Lewis in the hospital in the last episode was absolutely gorgeous.
