Oh ye gods, help me! Have been watching Torchwood, and am now going to say two three things I never thought I would.

1. This show is actually getting good.

2. I'm beginning to like Ianto.

[ETA] 3. Toshiko and her romantic aspirations are actually cute. So is Owen (but that's not like... new, so it doesn't count really).

I have, like three episodes of SGA and two episodes of Supernatural and Torchwood *both* waiting on my hard drive, and all I do is read Fall Out Boy porn.

Heh, I still haven't watched most of this season's SGA. :D Stopped SPN after the fucking annoying xmas episode, so yeah, three more eps to watch...

And yeah, it'd be easier to watch telly if you didn't have an insane fandom to dabble with on the side. *hides her Hot Fuzz dvd and refuses to go to YouTube to play with Pegg and Frost*

I'm now in the "drug user"-stage of my fandom initation. Like, hours and hours of fic, smiling in random times because I remember something heart-wrenching.. My weekend was totally saved when I learned that my fannish sucject had got himself a dog, a pocket-sized frou frou dog named Penny. There was even a video! *Flails*

I cried buckets at Adam, and was horrified by the end of Reset. Torchwood cannot survive without Owen. He has to be there, and he has to be a shit. Otherwise it's all too wimpy and will turn into one big love-in and I will vomit.

They have to bring him back.

I hadn't watched Meat either (sometimes I have this weird overload with a show and just tape it for a few weeks/months and then watch it all at one go), and watching these three episodes in a row was a weird emotional rollercoaster.

The thing is, while Torchwood is pretty and somewhat interesting, I rarely feel anything while watching. Oooh! Pretty Jack and oooh male kissing and blah blah plot? Not this time. I'm beginning to really like most of the guys (and beginning to have an urge to kick Gwen in the teeth... you have Rhys! Stop messing with Jack!), and yes, that even includes Ianto.

Adam made me cry too, not just for poor Jack, but while Adam was mind-raping poor Ianto. They're not taking the easy way out, and I like it.

I've liked all the episodes of season 2 so far. I can't believe it! I definitely didn't expect this. I've learned to like all the characters and I surprised myself by noticing that I really don't want Owen to go.

Well they had all that potential already; I think they just had to get over the whole oooh we're so damn adult and see, we're shagging around and yelling shit all the time. :D

I doubt they'll kill Owen permanently. They'll resurrect him and he'll come back half weevil or something silly like that...
