Date: 2007-08-19 12:04 am (UTC)Haa, I so know number one. :D Because I'm kind of listening to it right now (it's on my current playlist and pops up every now and then) and know it by heart. Kinda. So, Chris Cornell and the deliciously porny song "You Know My Name". Well, it's porny to me, anyway. ;)
Also, if I didn't know number five I'd be worried. I adore Queen and I've loved that song since kid. So, Queen's "Bicycle Race".
I can also recognize a few other lines, but I can't for the life of me figure out how the melodies go or what songs they're from. Just that I know them. I may have to go and google them and then do a bit of facepalming.

I really like Cornell's voice, and the song is porny, but it's weird how I actually dislike rest of his music.
I think I have some kind of a Queen phase right now. I've been listening to their songs for weeks, loving every moment.
I'm not that much into lyrics, so I'll usually recognize the song if someone hums it rather than from reading the lines. But OMG woman! Number 8! You've been watching DS! OMG!

!!! OMG! I knew I should've recognized it, and your comment made me wonder what on earth it was, and yet it didn't come to me. I just googled the lyrics and omgomgomg, it's THAT SONG. And I DIDN'T REALIZE. *slaps self* For my defense, that isn't the line that usually sticks to me when I listen to that song. But still... it's so wrong that I didn't know. Because I love that song. And I love that episode. And hate it. Because while I think Melina is gorgeous and I have a weird love-hate thing for Victoria, I hate her for breaking Benton the way she did and not caring that she did it. Honestly, the guy has never loved anyone else, and he trusts her almost completely and goes to bed with her and gets everything he has ever wanted, and then the bitch takes it all away and betrays him and OH GOD I AM SO EMO BUT ARGH HATE HATE MAIM!
Uh. Anyway. It's the only moment in the whole show that really, truly, honestly breaks my heart. It just hurts. And I can't help thinking that it was the point where Benton, the slightly naive thing that he used to be, learned how to be bitter.
Apparently I could go on and on about that episode and the drama that is Benton/Victoria and all that the double episode implies, but I'm sure the Internet's full of it already so I'll just shut up and go to bed. ;) I mean, I was going to bed already but then just had to go all !!! because of the lyrics. OMG! Bad fan!
