Aargh!

I just had a weird weird idea for a musicvid. Of course I have no idea how to actually make one. Any suggestions where to find a mvid guide for total idiots? Anyone know anyone who would actually make mvids to other peoples' requests?

I used to make vids in the Charmed fandom (pictures moving to music, not live action to music unfortunately) but that was on a program on my computer that died so I have no clue what it's called. >_< Er, which is of no help to you at all but there is always that option if you can find a program to do slideshows to do your music vid.

Since I know what huge work it is to actually make a music vid, I'm still trying to make the bunny go away. But yeah, will have to think about the live action versus pics thing....

That was my big fandom before coming to Harry Potter! :P Only I wasn't connected to it in the way I am with HP (I barely read other Charmed fics, I socialized via message boards) and heaven knows I've become a lot more open about what I read since joining HP fandom (like slash. :D).

I'm just about to head off to work, but if you want, you can see some of the vids I did. I really enjoyed them artistically and they satisfied my bunny cravings, so perhaps slideshow vid style could do the same for you? It's also a lot easier to find pictures than it would be to get the live action cuts you need and whatnot.

:D Well we all come to fandoms from weird places... I remember watching Charmed ages ago, when it still had Julian MacMahon. Oh those good old times.

It'd be cool to see your vids! I'm still thinking about live action, since the fandom I'm thinking about actually has excellent clips for the song, but if it turns out to be too hard, I might be tempted to do just about *anything*. Maybe.

I made *counts* four music vids (I was actually in the process of making some more but then the computer broke and ahh, I've been too lazy to get it fixed). Phoebe/Cole (song Beautiful Stranger), Charmed Again Part 1 & 2 (song Bring Me To Life), Phoebe (song Just A Girl), and Season 6 (24 by Jem). Which one would you like to see and what email should I send it to?

Hum.... That Bring me to Life one sounds intriguing (though I must confess that if it's to the Evanescence song, I'm also intrigued to see if anyone can actually make a good mvid to anything they make. *shivers* I have bad bad memories from awful songfics...), but you can choose. :D Or you can just send them all. rimaufic@yahoo.co.uk works every time.

Hehe, I used to watch Profiler as well. All four seasons (and I was so sad when they canceled it).

It is the Evanescence song but now I'm nervous about it. >_> The pictures I used for the vid also has Piper's face blurred out for some reason but ah well. I'll try and send them all. My favorite is the Season 6 one because I didn't use a base for them (the other three I had the pictures and the song lyrics on a page before I started making the slideshow vids themselves) and I think it came out really well.

I tried to send the vids via my Yahoo account but it didn't go through (though it may have been a one time thing. I'll try again). I also tried uploading the vids to my new site but apparently the files are just too big for it so I shall see what I can do about that.

I promise, I haven't forgotten!
