spoiler free Potter thoughts

Everyone around me seems to be at least mildly intrigued with the new Potter book, avoiding spoilers and/or planning on rushing to the bookstore first thing tomorrow to get a copy.

I will now sit back and wait for the whining and cursing. Probably even tears.

And no, I'm not interested in canon anymore. I may sound callous and egoistic and whatever, but I'm happy with my own interpretation of the Potterverse and don't want to annoy myself even more by getting involved with canon stuff again.
