Tonight's Doctor Who went into the category 'Exactly Why I Watch This Show'. Foreshadowing and story arcs and whatnot and OMG it had Captain Jack! See how coherent I can be?
Good tv is better than any psyche meds in my book. I can't believe how a 'silly British sci-fi show' can make one squee this hard, jump up and down and then go all yay in the end. No, wait. Yes I can believe it.

Date: 2007-06-17 07:40 pm (UTC)Have been reading reviews, and am totally amazed by the combination of squee posts and old bitter fandom queens all eager to hate Russell T Davies for everything he does. Apparently it's hard for some people to grasp that this is a revival of a show, not the straight continuation of it.
