Random randomness:

The weekend

- was awesome.
- dlasta is one of the best cooks I know. She also makes a mean cheesecake!
- babbling ans squeeing about various stuff (prOn, idiots, Zelenka, Heroes etc.) still seems to be great big fun. Yes, we're intellectual people who are interested in discussion (instead of just being great big pervs).

The squee

- OMG Doctor Who's the Shakespeare Code was hilarious. Silly witches and Harry Potter jokes. Also, Shakespeare hitting on both Martha and the Doctor made my laugh out loud (which was funny, since I was watching this on my way back, in the train).
- I really like Martha! Also, am really not sure I like all the stuff they keep bringing up about Rose. She's gone. Deal.
- OMG I have Dalziel and Pascoe! Finally! Heads You Lose! OMG!
- shirtless Pascoe in the hospital bed! Gratuitous nipple shots!
- oh, and Dan Radcliffe in Jonathan Ross was priceless.

The Very Unpopular Fandom Opinions

- watched the pilot and second ep of Heroes. Sadly, wasn't impressed. Hiro was adorable, otherwise I don't really care about the characters.
- I'm not really big on friending people just to read their fics. Especially if they friendslock every fic. Don't know why, it just feels like extortion somehow. Double the annoyance if they pimp their stuff in a community and then demand you to friend them to read said stuff.

What else

- nothing, really. Just trying to seem like I actually have something witty to say.
- oh, wait! I left my brush at Dlasta's! Honey, put it somewhere safe please!

Yeah, it's quite annoying to have someone pimp their friend and it's behind a friendslock. Makes me want to shake them and say, "What's the point of you friendslocking and/or your pimpage?"

Which reminds me, I totally want to read the fics at kardasi's site, but alas, I don't remember the username/pw from my old computer that I used and was on the list, and now she isn't accepting new people on said list. Makes me wanna sigh when I see those fics recced on rec pages but I can't read. Le sigh.

:) Of course friending people to just read their stuff is perfectly cool. I mean, I know loads of people who love having a huge FL but don't really want to get involved in anything and don't usually comment on any post that isn't about fic.

*sigh* I think it's best I don't say anything about people who password archives, pimp the place and then refuse to share the fics after all or I'll end up in fandom wank or something.
