Aug. 7th, 2006 04:15 amJust finished watching Inside Actors Studio with Hugh Laurie and I'm totally speechless.
1. The way they talked about really private stuff boggled me. Lipton asking him about his relationship with his mother and grief and all that stuff.
2. Hugh Laurie being so painfully... himself is kind of weird. They do say that most of the great performers are depressed and weeping inside...
3. I think he weirded Lipton out, which is always a good thing.
4. OMGs! He was such a scrawny little twat when he was young!
5. Why oh why do they always bring out Black Adder instead of Jeeves and Wooster? Watch any American talk show with Laurie in it and they never ever mention Jeeves and Wooster. It's mind boggling!
6. The subtext question about Laurie's opinion on House's romances came out from the left field, but surprisingly enough, it didn't annoy the hell out of me like such questions usually do. A girl asked him if he thinks House should get together with Cuddy, Cameron or Wilson, and he took it well, suggesting that if the show runs long enough, why not go through all of them.
7. Even though Robert Sean Leonard would probably not like the idea. :D
Should go to bed now, but am going with the good old 'listen to angsty music and write angst' thing. Totally depressed myself last night by doing that and got a headache. Hope my head won't explode this time.
