sua_layBeen working on my fic all night. Funny, how there are good bits and decent bits and then bits that make me want to rip off half my hair and wail.
I have to wonder if every author both love and hate their work.
Still, it can't all be good unless it's a short drabble with every single word placed for perfection.
Asked my betas to finish with the polished chapters so I can start posting whenever I want to. It's kinda against my principles to post a WIP since we all know what happens when I do that, right? But I'm just so damn tired of sitting on this fic, going back to the beginning and tweaking a phrase here and there, never really doing anything about the parts that aren't yet finished.
Posting this monstrosity doesn't mean I expect all the people who've had to suffer through my insane rants to read it. I just want it out in the open so that I won't feel the urge to take that one last peek at the beginning and maybe fix a word or three.
Oh hell, whom am I trying to fool here? I just want to whine about the damn thing and when my betas give me the first... meg or so of the fic, I'll just whine some more and never do anything about it. This damn fic has stolen my life!
