Your public announcement from the Den of Laziness:

- sleep was good

- am still amazed of the explicit scenes in Nip/Tuck and am looking forward to seeing more episodes. Yes, I'm that shallow.

- Eddie Cahill is a hunk.

- no, that didn't have anything to do with Nip/Tuck. But watched CSI: NY earlier and had to pimp his hunkness.

- more polishing on the fic. Encountered Snape thinking about 'good guys', the cargoyle protecting Dumbledore's door and him telling him he thought he was in trouble. Also, almost added a character called Sape there.

- it's the season to have some ham!

- whatever happened to [livejournal.com profile] mace_m?

- the soundtrack for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe sounds good after the first hearing. Mr. Gregson-Williams, I think I may adore your work.

- seeing [livejournal.com profile] tvillingar tomorrow. Shall probably do some pre-xmas shopping, even though am now kinda looking forward to the sales after Yuletide.

- will post the Yuletide drabbles early next week.

- just now, life is good.

Yes, where is Mace? *worried*

You should add a character called Sap. He would be Snape's evil sweet twin. Or maybe a character called Snap, who would be Snape's brother and one part of an a capella trio "Snap, Crackle and Pop".

Um, is it too late to request a drabble? *sheepish* I forgot to ask for one before, but I'd love to have one. I'd love some Dom/Billy as you write them so well or maybe Orlando with anyone (with Orlando not being too slutty). I'm not actually sure what I want, but something fun would be appreciated. Feel free to make me cry too though. (Yes, I have the vanilla syndrome.)

I saw the Narnia trailer yesterday (went to see GoF for the 3rd time, hm) and the music sounded very beautiful and the film looked very pretty too. I was read a part of the first book in school and I didn't like it, but I think I'll see the film and then maybe try the books too.

*worries too*

I used to have this weird plot bunny about Snape having a happy and sweet twin who comes to Hogwarts to teach DADA. Thank all the gods I never wrote that bunny. :D Maybe Snape, Lucius and Gilderoy Lockhart used to be that mysterious trio before they parted ways, kinda like the Marauders, but with glamrock costumes and lots and lots of wild parties.

:D

One drabble possibly coming up. I think I promised someone a Monaboyd one, but no one came to claim it when I asked again, so might as well write one.

I liked the Narnia books and the silly BBC series, but am not too happy with C.S. Lewis and his xtianity thingy. But that's just me. :D

*rushes off to do anything but write drabbles*

Anyone I've met has never deleted their LJ before and I feel very worried and weird and clueless about what to do. At least I got a card from Mace yesterday, but that's all I know.

I love the idea of Snape, Lucius and Gilderoy. Can you just imagine the snark? Gilderoy would be clueless about it though. He and Lucius would compete about who's the most handsome and brilliant of them all, wave their hair around and drive Snape mad.

Whee, a drabble! (Well, possibly.) Don't worry, if you don't have time or it just won't happen and there's always my birthday next month. Or if Dom/Billy won't work out, write me some crack about Snape, Lucius and Gilderoy :D I'd love it! Come on, you wrote about Moomins! :) *cough* Seriously, I love Lockhart and I also think Kenneth Branagh was just amazing as him. I can't stop giggling whenever he's on screen. "Your new DADA teacher -- Me" *loves*

I haven't seen the series. The christianity scared me away from the books, but maybe I could ignore it now and see what else I could get out of them. Nah, it's not just you.

The christianity scared me away from the books

I was obviously too young to realise the attempt to brainwash me since I just enjoyed the fairy tale ;) On the other hand, I am a Christian but C.S.Lewis certainly didn't influence my beliefs.

I'll quit sounding pompous now. Or something.

I can't actually blame the books. It was the teacher who read them to us at school and a few students who used to kindly explain us the christianity in the books, putting down the fantasy and telling us that the books aren't even about that but the christianity and that's the only good way to enjoy them or the only way that Lewis would approve. So it's actually that annoying experience that bothers me, not the books. I can barely remember anything about them, so I should give them a new chance.
