Poll about da fic. Skip it if you're bored with it already

Couldn't keep my mouth shut yesterday and babbled with tvillingar about da fic and the fact that there are a few character deaths in it. By 'character' I mean canon character and by 'few'... well, takes more than my fingers to count, if you get my drift.

Still, it's not a deathfic.

Anyway, our talk got me thinking, so am posting my first poll ever! See! What a shiny little poll! Now take it!

it`d be more than enough to have adequate warnings - "death of a minor character"/"character death"/"death of a major character" and "deathfic" all suggest different events.

I agree with you... However, there are lots of times when I can't read a really angsty fic with character X dying and then I kinda like more specific warnings...

I voted for the third option (the first and the second one sound good too). Not for myself really, though, because character death doesn't shock me that much (though I'm not really going "Whee, deathfic!" either), but as far as I know, some people can't handle their favourite characters dying and wouldn't like to risk reading your fic if there was a possibility that their favourites would die. They would be spoiled though, but if that's what they want... But, in the end it's your decision, of course.

Yeah, at first I thought to just state that 'there are lots of deaths in this fic, since it describes a war, but none of the main characters dies', but then I figured that's not enough.

I don't like reading fics where my fav supporting characters go out in a blaze of glory. Or any other way either. The trend of always killing Sirius (pre-OotP) and Dumbledore was getting kind of tedious after a while.

So yay. Shall give people an option to find out who die, just because about half of those who die aren't teh evil.
