deep fandom thoughts with spoilers

Okay, so have been thinking about the first Narnia movie as I've listened to the soundtrack, and I keep getting more and more annoyed at the way they fucked up with Mr. Tumnus. Listening to 'A Narnia Lullaby' I keep remembering the way the cool CGI showed us Aslan in the fireplace, and the way Mr. Tumnus seemed to find his conscience after that. Okay. That's not real conscience if you are intimidated into doing the right thing!
It really, really pisses me off, because it implies that this character would have just sold his new friend to the White Witch if he hadn't had the reminder of the god like creature of Aslan being there to punish him for his sins.
*grr*
Er... Moving on.
I also kept thinking about Doctor Who and especially the companions they've showed us these recent years. Like... ( what made Rose special and Martha not that special? ) Not that I mean Martha wasn't special and no, I don't dislike her. And no, I don't dislike Rose either.

Actually, I also like both Star Trek and Star Wars, Babylon 5 and Star Trek DS9, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and I adore both cauliflower and broccoli. Sue me.
Guh, it's really too late for deep thoughts and I'm not really into meta anyway. But have been working on the stuff my beta sent me and needed a break. :D A good rant is always better than stuffing my face... Well, at least it's better for my health...
