My mega huge work day (a meeting, then a night shift, another meeting, no real time to sleep for about 30 hours) is finally over.

Survived it barely, but am here.

The metros were late today, because of some man randomly whacking another man with an ax. A fucking ax! Like... What the hell is going on in here? You can't sit in the metro without some headcase trying to kill you.

I'm so damn disappointed at humans, it's not even mildly amusing anymore. Our history is one endless warfare, from tribal warlords to certain short European men with delusions of grandieur. We destroy everything we touch, the nature, each other. I'm not sure why we even evolved this far. Maybe Mother Nature has a weird sense of humor or something.

Now I feel an urge to rant and rave about wars and politics and stuff, but considering I'm about to fall asleep right here I'd better not. Maybe some other time...

Note to self: don't go to IKEA when you're already exhausted!!!

Went on a crazy shopping spree with Maria and new bf. It was fun. Apparently I'm in the nesting mood again, so was ogling at all the lovely CD towers, carpets, shelves, chairs, sofas and other lovely junk furniture with enthusiasm.

Am very proud I didn't buy a lot of stuff. Did manage to buy some plates (since I've smashed over half the ones we used to have), candle holders, a small box thing for my data CDs and a towel.

Yay me.

Now I'm wondering if I shoulda bought that CD tower. The one I have is really stupid. It lets the CDs get all dusty (what do you mean I should vaccuum more often than once a year month?) and I never find what I'm looking for.

[whine whine whine]

I think I'll do some cleaning tomorrow...

But before that, I should probably get some sleep. Lotsa sleep. Lovely sleep. Would marry sleep. Yes I would. My favorite way to spend time. Yes it.... [snore]
