Had kinda fun in the woods. Well, it wasn't the actual woods, but anyway... Am glad to be home, though.

Will probably go to bed in a few hours. Am totally tired.

I'm awfraid to watch the season premiere of CSIMiami. :( Am not in for the heavy angst right now, and am sure it'll ruin my evening.

Maybe I'll just... Not watch it. Or something. Sheesh. I just hope that there's an awesome you-know-what scene and I get to wallow in the beauty of the sadness instead of being pissed off.

Hope that didn't spoil anyone...

King Arthur DVD will have an alternative ending. I don't suppose it'll be the one where Lancelot lives and gets to marry Arthur... Probably not.

On a tangential note, I was watching an Ian McKellen documentary earlier this year (a video "diary" over 12 months), and it revealed a joke he and the wardrobe/makeup people played on Peter Jackson.

On the day in question, they were to shoot the coronation scene. Only, instead of Gandalf's usual top-knot/hippie wig , Sir Ian emerged sporting this magnificent silver layer-cake hairdo, with jewels. And I believe they actually went ahead and filmed him uttering the immortal line:

"Now come the days of the Queen!"

I hope it's on the DVD. -- Mark

If anyone ever had doubts about Ian McKellen's prowess as an actor, that would definitely banish them. I mean to able to a) do that scene with a straight face and then b) do the REAL scene with a straight face, would take real talent.
