;)
The topic of today's rant came from the nice package a VERY nice American lady sent me yesterday... Well, I received it yesterday...
I wonder how much the slash writing people actually watch TV. I used to watch several hours a day, but nowadays, there are days when I hardly open the machine. Yes, I watch (and tape!!!) the few good series they show, and yes, I still have all the good series they used to show on tape, but I hardly ever watch them.
Okay, so there are times I sit on the couch and stare at the screen, leaving only to go to the toilet or to get something to munch. Like yesterday, when I received the first season of Poltergeist the Legacy on tape. Or when I'm in the middle of a writing process and need to watch the whole series again.
Otherwise, I don't really watch TV.
That sounds weird. I don't know why. I mean, I KNOW that most of the time I used to spend watching TV is now spent reading or writing slash. Still, it's funny how I don't even miss all the mindless TV watching.
Could it be possible that age actually DOES bring wisdom?
//sigh// I have three hours left of my working day (night-shift again, and let me tell you it's NOT funny to be the only one awake in this building now that I spent hours watching a scary TV show yesterday!) and then I'll probably have to sleep for a few hours before I can continue watching PtL...
