sua_layWas knackered after the work shift, so took a nap. I can fuzzily remember having an idea for my fic before falling asleep, but I can't remember it anymore.

Should probably warn you that i'm highly opinionated about this fandom. Any answers will be about 4th book, 3rd movie canon because JKR can keep her lousy pile of crappy lies... I mean no OotP spoilers here, because that just didn't happen.

Hmmmm... I would have to say something like 'in between fanon and canon'. I adore what Alan Rickman has done to him! The problem with JKR's characters is that they're all flat and one dimensional for the most of the time. A good fanon Snape is definitely better than the book canon one (whose motives are seen through a kid's eyes). The happy/romantic idiot/weird Snape disgusts me.

Good gods... Um.... Remus/Sirius, Ron/Draco, Percy/Oliver, twincest, Bill/Charlie, Dumbledore/McGonagall. Don't mind pairings like Ron/Hermione while reading Harry/Snape as the main couple.

Ahem... Also, I like it when writers give the lesser characters some real personalities. There are lots of very good supporting characters in Potterverse.

Am not a big fan of suddenly anything. Explain it to me so that it makes sense, and I may believe it. Write about Saint!Harry who's worshipped all around the globe because he's so strong and handsome, and I'll run screaming.

As long as it's good, I don't really care. I do however have lots to say about idiots who post WIPs and blackmail people with them, who post only in LJ and then I can't find all parts, those who start good plotfic and go with 'blah blah they shag the end' instead of following the story through and so on. /rant

- xovers with Buffy. They never work.

You follow the basics of canon, but you make your own story. I'm not a huge fan of weird fanon things like suddenly everyone practicing wandless magic or whatnot, but hey, if a story's well written, I'll read it.
40) Many ships in one fic:
It's all right, unless it's like one of those elfslash fics with 5 pairings that are all fluffy first times. Also, the Harry/Snape relationship would be different from Ron/Draco relationship or Sirius/Remus relationship. Some might just have fun, some would be lovey dovey whatever.
