Am not available for a couple of days, since my computer committed a suicide. Will have to take him to a doctor or whatever. If I ever find a person who makes viruses, will kill them.

Anyway... Am still thinking about a lappie, so any advice is good. Am I insane if I buy a Hewlett Packard? I think I remember someone saying nasty things about them...

Oh well. At least now I can stop chewing my nails and wailing 'SHE DOESN'T LOVE ME ANYMOREEEEEEEEEEEE!' at the top of my lungs. That's good. Twas scaring the dog :)

Anyway... With regards to HP, same reply as the question about Celeron Processors :) It's the old story. They used to be good but then they got bought out by someone and went to crap.

For what it's worth, I would recommend getting a Toshiba. The Japanese may have lost the war but they make damn fine electronics. I've had three Toshibas so far and they were all wonderful.

Durable too. Customs got a hold of my first one and tossed it around. I was sure it was a goner. But it still works fine.

The couple of times I've tried other brands, the laptops have been duds.

No Toshis here, so will have to buy a HP. Heh. Mebbe I'll go to the shop and ask if they have a Snape and see if they'll get the joke... Or something.

HEY! Snape would make an EXCELLENT laptop! He's smart, competent and no virus would DARE invade him :D
