sua_layInsomnia, tonight thy name is Dan Brown. Started readin Da Vinci Code at three am, thinking I'd read a few pages before going to bed. Big mistake. Had to put the book down a few minutes ago and force myself to go to bed.
Of course I couldn't sleep.
Not because I wanted to finish the book [even though I do] but because of all the obscure myths and conspiracies my mind latched into a certain plotline of mine and ran amok around the myths of British Isles.
Can someone please tell me how a slasher can turn her brains off for a while???
On other Potter related thoughts, does JKR ever actually think before she invents a plot device? The damn time turner! If you can turn back time, even if it's like 24 hours or even 24 minutes, would that mean that I could go back in time and save my friends from being killed by Voldemort? Could I go back in time and film everything happening to my poor innocent godfather?
If they can give one to a 13 years old student, the time turners can't be that rare and expensive. More people should have them. Or if it's an unique thing only Dumbly can manage due to his infinite wisdom, why can't he kill Voldemort and let Harryshag Snape grow up in peace.
I bet she didn't think of that. [annoyed grumbling]
Now I'll go to bed. And will not get up to scribble down stupid notes even if I have an epiphany! rushes off
