Jun. 15th, 2004 09:17 pmIt's always like this! I knew I had two hours till I had to leave the house, and suddenly I was actually scribbling. Gah! I just hate my imagination sometimes.
But I did manage to go and see Mia. We had babbly fun. Then went to the gym with Maria, and that was fun as well. I felt really butch pumping the iron and whatnot.
I've been going to see a MD player for ages now. Wanted to buy one ever since I heard Maria praise hers. But it was so damn expensive! And shiny! And expensive! And shiny!
I'm quite sure I'm insane with the shopping thing. Whenever something costs 'too much' in my book (like that €50 perfume...) I go and look at it (or test it) for months. I dondle the poor thing, wonder if I should buy it or not. Ask stupid questions from the sales people. Then go home just to return a few days later.
Today, I decided to either buy the damn thing or stop visiting the shops every week. So am now a proud owner of a new MD player. It's lovely! And shiny!
I wouldn't have bothered, but I've noticed that a big part of my bitchiness these days comes from the fact that I have to actually listen to people in buses. I hate that. Winos rambling, children squealing and teenagers babbling loudly into their cell phones. It's easier to sit there with good music playing and ignore the fact that I'm surrounded by idiots.
Will now go and play with my new toy!
