May. 18th, 2004 02:07 pmMost people on my friends list whine about sleeping badly last night. I on the other hand slept for 12 hours and woke up to the lovely sound of rain splattering against the window.
Yes, I'm sure everyone wants to kill me right now.
Have had weird and vivid dreams lately. It's very annoying. Especially since I can't really remember them when I wake up. Except that last night I was moving somewhere, and was having a nervous breakdown because of all the junk I had.
I've been going over all the old slash I printed out when I was still at school. This far, I've read lots of bad Star Wars fics and even worse ST: Voy fics. How lovely. It was weird to read things from printed paper. I guess I've got used to lying on the couch and staring at the screen.
Which is good, considering the ecological stuff. No need to kill forests for my slash obsession. Even though I do love books. And paper. And am not making any sense now, but who cares?
Now that I've decided that yes, I will buy the flat, things have turned kinda weird. It's really expensive to buy a flat here in Helsinki, even in the eastern part of the city. The two perfect places I've found this far have either been above a noisy bar or too close to my workplace. Will have to keep looking. Also, the rates are supposed to plunge next winter, so will probably wait till I can actually afford a place. Haven't seen anything really good that costs less than 100 000 euros. How the hell am I supposed to actually pay that by myself?
Sheesh...

Date: 2004-05-18 01:42 pm (UTC)I'm actually hoping the prices will drop, since they're insanely high right now. 125 000 euros for two rooms and a kitchen?
It's a good thing I'm one of those people who think about buying things forever. Like a certain CD tower... *ahem* I'll probably end up going to see the apartments over and over again until I find the one I really like. And it's not like I have impossible demands. I want a place big enough for all my stuff. And cats. The view should be to something else than a highway. No loud bars near by. And preferably not the first floor.
