Ma asked me if I'll vote in June. I was all confused for a moment before realizing that yes, there'll be an election for the EU parlament thingy.

I have no idea whom to vote, even though I think I shall. Because it's a thing. You vote, and then you can bitch about the outcome. You stay home and don't vote, and then you have to deal with the fact that you were a sad and lazy bastard and it's your fault everything's crap.

See how politically aware I am!

Maybe I should run for an office somewhere! I have excellent ideas! I can argue about most subjects using logic [and then some using the good old 'if you believe gays are freaks then fuck you, you bigot' -argument]. I'm aware of the realities [excuse me, prime minister, but not everyone can afford a house, nor does everyone want a lovely family with two point four kiddies]. I can compromise, but I can also fight for what I believe is right.

Hmmm... Nah. I wouldn't fit any of our parties. Am too liberal for some, too conservative for others.

*pimps* Well, have you read The Chalice and the Blade yet?:) I'm voting for the translator. Not just because she has an Avon haircut, but because I think she kicks major arse:).

Nope, haven't read it yet. But will take it to work with me when I have the night shift. Probably the only occasion I can spend hours reading a book, since whenever I'm home, I concentrate on the good old 'trying to write and doing something else with the computer' game.

:P

Run for a position, any position! We single, childless people need someone to represent us since everyone else seems to represent "family values". >.

Well, I'd be too weird to get elected.

You know, I'm all for women's choice, but I don't LIKE abortion, especially used instead of contraception. I say we need more money for child protection and preventing drug use, but I'm against giving people who just laze around or booze money. I'm kinda left wing, but unlike some who seem to be all for welfare stuff, I actually believe in people working hard for a living. Also, am kinda green, but don't follow all their agenda.

ALSO! My diplomatic skills are not bad, but I do have very strict opinions of little things like the USA, Islam, various religion based conflicts and saving the whales. So I doubt I'd be a very good politician after all.

Heh. Vote for a single bisexual woman who doesn't like kids too much. A great slogan...
