May. 13th, 2004 01:53 pmDid the good old 'managed to sleep for 4 hours and then had to work for 13 hours' -thing yesterday. Needless to say, I was totally exhausted when I came home. Not even the annual humiliation party (i.e. the Eurovision Singing Contest) managed to jolt me out of it. I simply waddled to bed and crashed.
I may have said this before, but will say it again [since I have the habit of repeating myself]: Sleep is good!
Things are once again changing at work, and like the last time we had this kind of turmoil, I've been given more stuff to do. I'm not feeling bad about it [unlike the last time, I could say], because it's probable it won't last more than three months.
The fact that things usually quiet down for the summer is also a good thing. I'm looking forward to the quiet afternoons. Heck, I'm even looking forward to the giant cleaning operations. At least then I can spend hours cleaning and ignore all the monster kids.
Life may be good. Am not doing the whole 'yay!' routine yet, in case everything turns into crap. But things are looking good...
