The shopping trip today was hell. Wasn't the usual nice shopping, which includes getting magazines, CDs, books and/or DVDs. No. This was the big horror!

I went shopping for clothes.

I really hate that. At least this time my optimism wasn't unwarranted and I actually fit in most of the clothes I tried on. Most looked hideous, of course. And the ones that I liked cost too much.

Spending € 32 on Master and Commander 2disc DVD is cool. Spending € 39 on new jeans is highway robbery.

Obviously, I need new brains...

Anyway, ended up buying the aforementioned new jeans and two cool T-shirts. Then got myself another one of those cute hats. I guess I'm a girl after all, since I do love hats. And shoes. Didn't go to the shoe store, though. Don't want to end up banckrupt.

Since I did go to the gym as well, I feel mighty fine now.

Blah, modern fashion looks like crap on just about anybody who isn't the size 34 model.

*drool* I can't wait to be a rich doctor who can go shoe shopping whenever she wants...

Yup. I was all in awe when I went to KappAhl. Most of the clothes just looked wrong somehow. Of course the fact that I'm size walrus doesn't help. Most of the shirts look like they were made of table cloth, curtains or even from some very unattractive sofa.

I feel like I used my yearly quota of sarcasm yesterday. It's fun to shop with a friend, but I do seem to have the tendency to babble constantly and make evil comments about everything.

HAHAHAHAHA! Ahem... sorry... Do doctors actually make any money these days? I always thought that after paying the student loan, they'll settle into a middle class existance. Unless they're unfortunate enough to actually work in a local health center, when they're just as poor as the rest of us.

*dreams of better wages and shoes*

Oh, after living with the student loan and the benefits for 6 years, anything with a regular pay means rich. I might *gasp* actually buy something without planning ahead for 2 months.

There's a serious difference with making 400 euros or roughly 2000 euros a month... (even after taxes)

Ah. Yes, you're right there.

sigh of course then if you're fool enough to buy a house, you'll spend the rest of your life planning every purchase for months.
