Bought the Fellowship of the Ring today. Had to watch it at once. Damn, that's a good movie.
I never really cared about Boromir in the book. He was kinda portrayed as the beedy eyed bad guy, and no one likes them. Since I adore Sean Bean, I was willing to give the guy a break, and man, did he deserve it!
It was weird to watch the whole thing on a normal TV screen after only seeing it in the movies. It was harder to spot certain things. Except for one. I'm now more convinced than ever that there's true love between Sam and Frodo. The look on Sam's face when he watches Frodo is breathtaking.
:D
Going to watch the special features right after ma finishes with tonight's Stargate. Wish it was December... Wanna see the Two Towers.

Date: 2002-08-07 11:52 am (UTC)Isn't he adorable there?! I'm actually rather pissed that he won no awards for his role as Boromir, eventhough it definitely was one of his best roles ever. If not the best. Every time I see him die, he breaks something in me.
