drabble: batman nolanverse (Lucius Fox/ ?)

This is what happens when I think about stuff too hard... Angst!

Lucius Fox/[mystery guy is mysterious]. As if you can't guess already; like I haven't slashed certain pairings since Batman Begins... In a form of a drabble


Ironically, Lucius knows all about secrets and masks.

Life is one huge masquerade; dancing to the tune of general approval. Sometimes he looks back on the years spent working alone on applied sciences as a reprieve from that charade.

He used to be just a guy, free to live and love as he pleased. Now he’s the head of Wayne Enterprises, just a. little higher on the food chain than others. His mask separates him from everything real, making it impossible to do anything more than smile stiffly at his lover and accept a drink from the tray he’s carrying.


Should work on the cliche Batman/Gordon, but blah dee blah. I'll just go and get another cup of coffee...

This made me go all Awwwwww for some reason. I know it was supposed to be angst but to me it was sweet.

Oh man, don't encourage me. :D I already have insane plotlines in mind for Lucius and Alfred, including their sordid past, lots of sex, Lucius playing the sax, Alfred leaving him because he has a duty and then hot geezer sex now that they're both older and wiser.

*desperate*

Could I like... please go back to the time I was obsessing only one story and one fandom? Oh. I forgot. There was never such a time... Oh well...
