So yeah, the obligatory Doctor Who finale reaction post

- Tennant! :X
- Jack in the Tardis. Jack with that look. Did I mention I like Jack? No? Well, I like Jack.
- Awww! Rose!
- Hmm... Rose and Doctor holding hands was cute. I also liked the way Jack noticed and kind of... *insert your own insane shipper theory here*
- Jack being exterminated again? I have lots of thoughts about that; especially after his reaction last week. Man must have been scared shitless and he still did that.
- INCINERATOR? BBQ Jack for all! Well, he does like getting around... *cough*
- TWO Tennants? How strange is the fact that I actually disliked the second Tennant? Doctor! Er... Blue!Doctor. He was somehow.... yeah, he was far more Nine before Rose got a hold than Ten ever was. Does that make sense? No?
- Jack is awesome!
- Daleks in Germany speaking German? Awesome! So much love for that!
- Whee! Deus Ex Machina with Torchwood. Don't care.
- Jack is still awesome!
- So is Jackie!
- Action Man Mickey! Or is that Mickey Mouse? Captain Cheesecake? That hug with Jack made me go so squee I think I woke all the dogs in the neighborhood.
- Okay, I like the whole moral dilemma of the Doctor, 'cause he's not human. But the realist in me says it can't always be done his way; he doesn't even do it his way in a way. People get killed, almost every single time, and though he saves the big picture, that doesn't stop people from dying.
- I make no sense.
- Jack is awesome.
- Bye bye Davros. I wonder if it'll take another 20 years to see you again.
- Two Doctors, Doctor Donna and all the rest of them are just so adorable together! I especially adore the Tardis flight thing; Jack pumping that thingy made it look like he's had lots of practice.
- Goodbyes again. Come on. I would have loved at least one hug between mah boys. :(
- No one there for Mickey. Now I need a fic where he never had a thing with Jake 'cause he was afraid Jake wanted Ricky (and 'cause he's kinda not gay) and then Jake died. Or something.
- Mickey and Martha in Torchwood? Please?
- But.... How can Jack just walk away? Come on, brain, focus!
- So Rose gets Blue!Doctor. Good. Thank you all gods for not making either version of the Doctor say it out loud and also for the fact that Rose kissed the Blue!Doctor, not the other way around. Happyish ending, though not.
- We called him Tony. HAHAHAHAHAHA! The only way that woulda been funnier is if they'd named the baby Vincent.
- Oh fuck. Oh man. :( That was worse than death, and I think they knew it. Donna! Oh man, Donna.
- But! What about Harriet Jones? Was she just a fluke? How did she do all that by herself and there was that TAH TAH TAH DUM! beat when she appeared. Also, did Donna's ring gleam just 'cause it was cool or did it mean something?
- Wilf for companion! I adore that man!
- The wet Doctor looking desolate. 100% of the fandom now wants to hug the man. Good way to end it, especially since the whole 'WHAT?' thing would have killed the mood...
- ... like the overuse of the theme from Human Nature almost did. Come on, Murray! You could have whipped up something new!
- Cybermen? Um... Sure, why not. Just please no Daleks for a few seasons, k?

Final verdict: Good. Lots of stuff and people and everyone had a chance to do stuff. Still no Jack kissing the Doctor, but am so not surprised.


I just realized that it'll be five months before we get more Who. OMG! But anyway, lots of good stuff coming up before that. Might go and see the exhibition at Earl's Court, 'cause the one in Cardiff was rather pathetic. Not to mention the fact that I'll join the howling hordes of fangirls in Stratford-upon-Avon later this year. So no escape from Who and Tennant related things, which is good.
