Dec. 17th, 2007 02:27 amWatching the latest SPN made me really angry. Haven't been this pissed off by a TV show for a long time.
I don't usually go cramming my religious thought down peoples' throats. All that I'm a Pagan hear me chant ditties and tell you how we should all love each other -stuff usually annoys the heck out of me, and besides. I find matters of faith personal. Go ahead and worship according to your religion/lack of religion, and leave me alone with mine.
Making fun of fundies, any fundies, can be amusing, and I have absolutely nothing against showing the stupidities people can do in the name of religion or god. Making fun of the gods, any gods...
*rage*
You get my drift.
Maybe people have problems with perception. Everyone's Christian, at least on the surface, and everyone's straight and everyone has a life and a spouse and wants kids and likes their life inside the box. Oh you mean you don't? What? You're not? But... That doesn't really happen, right? I mean, all those weirdoes are someone else and not someone I know, right? Right?

Date: 2007-12-18 05:56 pm (UTC)It always seems that pagans are shown either as looneys with long hair and long robes singing the pagan version of kumbayah and telling people their aura's fluctuating or as blood thirsty savages who have watched the Wicker Man (heh, the original one, that is...) too many times.
