a day in life
Oct. 27th, 2006 08:27 pmThis is what happens on a day I decide to just stay home and laze around:
- I wake up to the alarm and hit the snooze button. I wake up to the alarm six minutes later and hit the snooze button again. And again, after six minutes... Repeat at least ten times.
- It's raining outside! Water instead of snow, but it's raining! Eww! Will definitely not leave the house today!
- The mail arrives, bringing me bills. Gods, I hate that! I sit with the bills for a moment and mope.
- Hot chocolate!
- I call my flatmate and ask her to bring me some soda when she comes home. And something to eat. Maybe some candy. Oh, and some juice. She says sure, and then tells me to defrost the freezer. Why do I have to do everything around here???
- OMG it's Friday! SPN! SPN! Gotta find meself SPN! Dean! Squee!
- Lalalalalala I have nothing to do! Waiting for SPN, playing with kitties. I think I'll have a snack and more hot chocolate.
- I spend 3 seconds thinking of writing fic or working on my school assignments.
- *hysterical laughter*
- I answer fb and LJ comments. Thinking about fb as 'fanmail' still weirds me out, and I spend some time contemplating on my ego. Nope, still not totally bloated. Need to be careful not to be overly squee and spoil people. Also, keep the insane part of the humor checked so I won't offend anyone.
- SPN arrives just before my flatmate arrives with food. I watch the ep before eating and squee about Dean being... well, Dean. And I kind of wanted to pet Sam, so yay.
-
dlasta arrives online. I tell her about SPN and squee before making dinner. She's left alone to watch SPN.
- Remembering her babble about Torchwood, I call her a malicious wench one more time and then watch the second episode while eating. She should know by now that I don't need more telly shows to be all squee about, so if I go insane, it's her fault! But there shouldn't be a risk here, since I never really got into Who, so would I get all meep about the spin off?
- Yes, seems to me I can still lie to myself.
- OMG John Barrowman is adorable! And cute! And kinda weird! And definitely gay! He's gay? OMG so cool! And has a long time partner? OMG so romantic! And OMG I even liked Torchwood as a show (even though I admit Captain Jack helped a lot)!1!
- I spend four hours finding info about Barrowman, including various fan pages, loads of youtube stuff and babble with
dlasta about the man. It makes me feel all silly and giddy and good gods, I love being an utter and brainless fangirl!
- It's about midnight already, and have done absolutely nothing remarkable today.
- Am so proud of myself!

Date: 2006-10-28 06:49 am (UTC)After reading this I had a very vivid image of you sitting on the floor with bills all around you, looking all sad and tragic, and the cats circling you. God I laughed. Good times. ANYWAY... Dude, I know how you feel. :D
