sua_layAm miffed at the whole war thing.
People are idiots who never learn. A war never ends when the bad guy is vanquished. It ends after a peace treaty. The whole damn war is just a way to get to the negotiation part.
glares at the certain gun-ho president of a certain 'great nation' Try negotiating first. It'll save time and lives.
I wonder what the situation would be like if Gore had won the election. We'll never know.
This is just me being nervous. I mean, if... or rather when the war starts, it'll disrupt my daily routines. Also, it may ruin my planned vacation.
And I already have the plane ticket bought.
166 days till I see my lovely Wolfsbride again. Should probably start a countdown. Just to piss people off. :D

Date: 2003-02-19 12:17 am (UTC)It's not the prospect of war that worries me as much as the potential outcome. Yes, Saddam Hussein is not a nice fellow, but isn't there a chance that getting rid of him will cause more problems than it solves? Middle Eastern politics are tricky...
