- Commander in Chief seems to be total crap. Not just slightly silly, it sucks. Whereas TWW makes me believe that maybe some of the stuff we see and hear about Americans might be just a fantasy, this stupid series seems to promote all the big prejudices we have on [cencored due to the fact that some of the FL is from the US]
Note to the writers: if you keep repeating your own status all the time (*cough* commander in chief *cough*) while in conversation with people, it doesn't actually make you seem stronger about your position, it's diminishing.
Also, I hear the term 'female president' one more time, I'll hurl. Yeah. I know. I already have a bucket waiting.
- They're going to make a movie outta Dark Is Rising. Okay, so am a bit more optimistic about these sortsa things after LotR, but my gods they really shouldn't do this! This book series isn't an easy thing to put on screen, mainly because it's about thoughts and images that are easy to describe on page but will suck on screen.
Yay:
- Been watching Navy NCIS for some weird reason. It's not as bad as it could be. I mean, my expectations were low. Low. And it isn't totally bad.
