Seven Deadly Drabbles... er... Sins
May. 4th, 2005 08:05 pmAfter
emmuzka dragged me kicking and screaming back to contemplating popslash, I spent hours trying to find decent AJ/Brian (yes, from BSB) slash. There are about two decent stories (meaning that neither is a total idiot in an abusive relationship and the author doesn't overuse exclamation points).
We all know what that means, right?
So here is what I scribbled down: Seven drabbles based on the seven deadly sins. Will probably write another bunch about the heavenly virtues later on, just because I'm insane.
The drabbles aren't connected, each a separate little tale.

wolfsbride as always.
Envy
“Isn’t he the cutest little baby?” The question was crooned with the absolute conviction that the answer would be yes.
AJ shuddered, glad for the bright day that allowed him to wear his shades without appearing to be either rude or high. He didn’t want anyone to see how his gaze was full of desperate yearning every time he looked at Brian smiling at Leighanne and the baby with love shining in his eyes.
It was the perfect family with the perfect life.
Walking quietly to the car, AJ pretended not to hear it when Nick called out his name.
Gluttony
AJ licks the nape of Brian’s neck, savouring the salty taste. His lips move to the side of his throat; not biting, simply kissing the soft skin.
He loves the way Brian smells. It’s almost as good as the taste; only fainter, lingering all around him instead of exploding on his tongue as he laps at the perspiration trickling down Brian’s neck. He’s tried to think of something to compare it to, but nothing seems to come even close.
He wants to devour all of Brian and never stop. Knowing addiction, he recognizes this immediately as incurable, but doesn’t care.
Greed
“Come on, Brian. Tell me what you want!”
“God, AJ… I can’t…”
“Yes, you can. Tell me what you want me to do. I want to hear you say it.”
AJ didn’t move, waiting for Brian to make his decision. It would be the one thing he had never given him before, but he needed it now.
“You know what I want.”
But it wasn’t enough to know. AJ needed to hear it. He was certain Brian hadn’t given even this much to anyone, and yet he craved more.
He waited.
“Fuck me! Please, AJ, just fuck me already.”
“Yeah.”
Lust
“Not funny, AJ!”
Smirking at Brian’s shock, AJ shakes his head. “It’s not supposed to be. I mean it.”
“You… You can’t be serious!”
It’s clear to AJ that Brian is still shocked. Funny that there is no anger or disgust in his voice.
“If thinking that makes you feel better, then whatever.” Not that Brian needs to believe he’s fucked three of them already, even though he didn’t lie when he said that. Just as he didn’t lie when he said he wanted to fuck Brian too.
“AJ…”
AJ can see from Brian’s eyes that the answer is yes.
Pride
Howie frowns and puts his cup down, the coffee untouched. “You know that you need to apologize, right?”
Refusing to say anything, AJ stares at the table with unseeing eyes.
“AJ! You know it wasn’t his fault. You overreacted. Now go and apologize to him.”
AJ shakes his head, stubborn as ever.
With a sigh, Howie grabs his cup again, wondering if it would help if he smashed it against AJ’s hard head. “He’s not coming back if you don’t go to him first.” He knows Brian can be just as stubborn as AJ.
“No.” The word echoes with finality.
Sloth
AJ smiled as he felt the humming sound before he could hear the melody. The hot breath on his belly wasn’t exactly tickling him; it was almost soothing.
Like most things were these days.
“You know Kevin wants us to practice every day even if we have nothing scheduled with the dancers.”
Recognizing the warning in Brian’s voice, AJ still didn’t move. “I know.” There wasn’t really time to just lay in bed the whole day, not when they were in the middle of the tour.
AJ ran his fingers through Brian’s hair and closed his eyes.
Practice could wait.
Wrath
Holding his palm against his bleeding lips, AJ kept glaring at Kevin. He didn’t know any words to describe the rage inside him, so he stayed quiet, only his eyes revealing the storm inside.
“Brian, it’s wrong! You know that as well as I do.” Kevin didn’t sound mad anymore, just lost and hurt. “He’s not worthy of you.”
“He’s right, you know.” Not looking at AJ, Nick joined the argument
Howie didn’t say anything.
It would have been easier to hear words about it being a sin.
“Go to hell,” Brian finally choked.
AJ closed his eyes at that.
With that out of my head, I think I'll go and... not work on my fic. :D
