Vacation day 3

Am finally getting the notion that I'm on vacation. Oh yay. At the moment am saddened by the fact that am almost half way through the damn thing.

Oh gods, why can't I just win in the lottery and retire already?

Went to the hairdresser's today. Decided to try a new place, 'cause the salon I usually go to is expensive and the lady cutting my hair is... annoying. She seems like a nice girl, but she always insists on knowing what I want. Even when she's wrong. So decided to try this place that teaches would-be hairdressers.

Now I bet you're expecting there'll be a long and shocking story about how some young student fucked up my 'do. Well, you're totally wrong. The hairdresser knew her job and I love my new hair. Also, it was cheap. So yay!

Had a few hours to kill before my appointment and met with dlasta for a quick rush around the comic shops and a beer. I have to say that seeing her was definitely the best thing today.

Am now thinking of watching even more CSIM. I don't know if I'm in the mood for scribbling right now. The earlier angsting with TWW has kinda made me too whatever to focus on da fic.

Oh well...

Just realized that Yuletide is approaching, and I need to buy a present to my favorite person.

Me.

I usually don't give a damn about the holiday season, but I do feel that after a long autumn, I deserve something nice. So I get myself a pressie. Especially since I know that ma can't really afford anything I really want. :D Of course I'll get her something as well (I think she would love a Stargate calendar...).

Decisions! I want something very useless and shiny! Probably expensive as well. Have been browsing through the LotR knives and swords -section of e-Bay and have been in a fangirlish squee heaven. They are all so damn pretty! And expensive! And shiny.
