Did actually leave the house today. Am so very proud of myself right now!

Went to Itäkeskus to meet Mia. She was almost an hour late, so I had the time to browse through some glasses at the optician's. Since they actually had a sale there, I ended up getting new frames and am going to get my sight checked on Friday.

Yay.

Had fun babbling with Mia. Somehow both of us had the time and the energy to actually listen to what we were saying and even care. We don't see as often as we used to, but there's still friendship and honesty and even love there. Which is good.

Another yay.

Came to home just in time to have a long discussion with two of my fav slashers. It was pretty sad how I was the one who ended up reading the lousy rape recovery story mace_m recced earlier. What's worse, I even read the sequel. We always seem to find the worst of the disgustingly lousy fics.

Forgot to tape the first third of Stargate. My ma will kill me tomorrow...

Anyway, will now spend the rest of the evening (night, whatever) on the couch. Which reminds me I should probably go shopping for a new chair/couch. Oh well. Will do that on Friday as well, since will just laze around tomorrow.

Watched more Hornblower. Am still in lust with Ioan Gruffudd. Just realized that he looks insanely like the Harry Potter in the covers of the Finnish editions.

Anyway, I wish I could find some good slash from HH. Or HP. Or any fandom, really. Tried to read some sailslash earlier, but apparently if a dedicated soldier cries in the series when he's kinda lost and confused, that means that he's a wimp and needs to be coddled and bathed all the time in fic.

I know I'm repeating myself here, but what the hell is wrong with those authors???

Also found a site for M7 stories and one of them was even of the pairing I like. Unfortunately it was a 8 parts series and none of the parts was over 3 k long. What the hell is that supposed to be? Why not just write a 24 k story and not make a damn series out of it?

So I couldn't control myself. Went to order more Hornblower. Am so weak! So weak!

Found the paper where I'd scribbled my work shifts. Apparently will be working like a dog next week. Not fun at all. Will have to try to ignore that for now.

Should probably go and make some dinner. Well, lunch. Second breakfast. Whatever.

Okay. After last night's insane activities (no, nothing like that, read lousy slash), will not go and read anything from midnight to at least 4 am. That way I should have some time to actually work on the fic. Or have fun with the fic. It's not as if writing slash is work. Even though at the moment it kinda is.

Gah!

If anyone's waiting for me to mail them, they have to wait a bit longer. Am really trying to do something about da fic, so no other scribbling for me right now. dlasta, have you read the damn fourth book yet?
