Things that made me squee today:

-Saw a picture of PoA's Remus Lupin. The scars! drool
-I actually fit those damn jeans. Yes. Am still all happy about that. Yes I am! Yay me!
-Weird Al Yankovic's music videos. I especially liked 'Fat' (yeah, go figure) and 'Amish Paradise'.

The result: I'm easily amused!

I now have an urge to grab my BoB DVDs and spend the next ten hours watching Winters and Nixon's excellent adventures one of the greatest drama series ever.

Must resist!

It's cold in here, I should put on socks. But cold air is better than stale. Da Old Woman is still smoking inside, so I have to do something so I won't completely suffocate.

[gripes and bitches]

Have almost finished watching Xena. The closer I get to the end, the slower I watch. Probaly because am in no mood for heartwrenching angst at the moment. sigh I find myself cooing at Xena and Gabrielle. They are so damn cute together!

Am also reading a real book! How amazing! Anyway, it's an old favorite of mine, Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising sequence. All five books in one. It may be that I'm totally barmy, but now I want to write Will/Bran slash. Something with a plot. And maybe then I'll go and molest Ursula K. LeGuin's classic and pair Sparrowhawk and Arren together.

Bookslash. My old squick, new friend. But then again there are so many things that used to squick me. Bookslash, various pairings (like Mulder/Krycek, Spike/Xander, Angel/Wesley, Snape/Harry, feel free to laugh now), RPS and a few others.

I would ask for someone to send me brains, but I know from experience that no one will bother...
