Managed to go through a night shift without any suicidal thoughts. Yay me.

sigh What is it with Potter authors? Everyone seems to have a dozen WIPs and mailing lists for their stories. I don't know... Sounds a little... Pompous. Egoistic.

Maybe I'm just envious...

Am feeling great now. It may be freezing out there, but it's warm inside, and I don't have to leave the house for hours. Will meet Dlasta later today. We'll go and have dinner and then we'll finally go and see Red Dragon. I made the mistake of reading RD slash and am now having very big expectations on the movie.

Anthony Hopkings is always a good thing, though. Er... Except for that awful movie about the life of C.S. Lewis.

Gah. Now that made me think of two annoying things.

1. All those phony christian 'we'll cure you from your nasty gaydom' movements. The finn version is called Aslan. Yeah. Go ahead and ruin me the silliest kids' story ever.

and

2. The notion I heard that it was Lewis' suggestion to Tolkien that he should marry Sam to Rosie, since the poor bastard was way too gay for his own good.

Now I want to go and write some silly elf smut. I have this weird lust to see the Lothlorien blonds rolling around in a patch of niphredil. Me bad.

Looooong day....

Babbled with Wolfsbride all morning, so I didn't get any sleep. Then went to buy Maggie Furey's newest book. I like her stories, but the fact that she has three or four storylines overlapping is annoying. Just as I get interested in what guys a nd b are doing, the chapter ends and I have to read about guys m and n. Annoying.

Went to eat with Dlasta. Pizza... Yum...

As we went to buys some coffee for me, we babbled loudly about a nice cello piece that was heard in last week's Dalziel&Pascoe. I was wondering what that melody was called and whose it was. The nice middle aged woman in front of us turned to look at me, smiled and said, "It's Elgar's Cello Concerto." Very nice lady! Wish there were more like her. :D

Red Dragon... Am still in awe. I liked it very much. I want to lick Ralph Fiennes. Or Edward Norton. Yeah. I'm normal that way.

I wonder if the cut on my hand will leave a scar. I like scars. Mr. Nose has a wonderful 12 inches long scar on his right forearm from a childhood accident. I always wanted to lick it.

I seem to have some kinda need to lick people. How silly.
