Oct. 28th, 2004 08:33 pmMy poor fragile mind.
Swept away by fandoms, I've now completely lost any grasp I've had on sanity. It's completely nutters.
I'm the first to admit that I cry at the movies. If there's an emotional scene, I'm all in tears. It doesn't even have to be about death or slashy stuff.
Okay. So when it becomes about slash, I cry twice harder. The whole LotR thing and the very recent CSIMiami angstfest are very good examples about this. Bordering on real insanity.
Just read spoilers about the West Wing, and spent five minutes crying. Yeah. Apparently I don't need to actually see the sad bits anymore. Just hearing about them is enough.
Fandom life can be fabulous with all the anticipation and following the storylines to see that one sweet moment when you can squee that 'oh my gods their love is so pure'. It can also be a bitch when TPTB either fuck up the characters or kill them.
I really wish I could have some chocolate now.
