sua_layWatched the first Harry Potter movie this morning. Was sleepy at work, and staring at the flickering light on telly help me stay awake.
Now I'm troubled. First of all, Wax's comment of them totally blowing Remus and Sirius is scaring me. The fact that Harry's parents looked kinda... old helps. They looked like they were about 35 when they died. That means the other Marauders are around 50 for crying out loud. Well, then again Hagrid's supposed to be around 70, so...
Also, the longer I watched the movie, the more I started to feel for the Slytherins. The school system is unfair. Harry freakin' Potter gets privileges, and he's the headmaster's pet. Poor Malfoy and his goons. :D
On a brighter and even more freaky note, I now have a thing (as if I didn't have one before) for Alan Rickman. And Snape too. Also, thought Oliver Wood was really cute and sexy, and considering the fact he was a teen and I am a youth worker, that just sucks. Heh. Or he could suck Snape. Oh Gods. I'm so going to be a goat in my next incarnation.
Watching the newest Angel right now. I'm not sure if I like to watch Angel anymore. I kinda hate most of the characters, and miss the ones who have left. Also, being a Rabid Briton FanGirl (RBFG???), I hate the way Wes is treated. Oh well. I'll put my faith in Joss. He'll see it through somehow.
On a more personal note, did some loitering with Mia today. Had fun. Called to a dozen frends (there goes the phone bill) and sent lots of email. I like the days after nightshifts. After I sleep really late, I can almost imagine I have a day off.
Of course the fact that I feel nauseous and will probably have to run to the toilet in about five seconds is not a good thing. sigh
